It has been almost two months since we launched MANA and we couldn’t be happier with how things are going. It feels so liberating breaking free from the franchise model and finding a new way forward.
Now we can do things our way and focus on what we love – our community. Curious about what’s happening locally? Here’s a snapshot of things not to miss in the region.
Don’t miss: The Ocean Shores Art Expo is on November 5-6 at the Ocean Shores Country Club. The theme this year is ‘Looking Back, Moving Forward’. Our team loves art and we’re a big believer in backing the arts community. We have sponsored the Ocean Shores Art Expo since 2015 and have now become a major sponsor. It’s an amazing event bringing more than 1000 visitors to the exhibition and cultural performances each year. Definitely one to add to the calendar.
Upcoming community event: Head to the Mullumbimby Show, November 11-13. We’re proud to be Platinum sponsors of this fun event. Wander the arts and crafts, take part in the open mic session, listen to live music, watch the spaghetti circus performances and of course, see all the animals. From bee exhibitions and reptile world to miniature goats and show jumping, there will be non-stop entertainment at this great community event.
One to try: Husk Distillery. Premium rum with a twist… instead of using molasses, Husk Distillers make their rum from freshly crushed cane juice. Husk Rum is a true farm to bottle product, reflecting the environment in which it is made – the fresh salt air, fertile volcanic soil and pristine waters of the Northern Rivers. The small batch Ink Gin has been crafted with Butterfly Pea giving it a magical colour infusion. Visit the cellar door and do a Distillery Tour or book a table or lawn umbrella and settle in for a tasting, bespoke cocktails and share plates. Cheers!
